leo Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 hi guys just jacked up my car to check wheel bearings on the front found to be ok , but as im rocking wheel up and down there is a lot of movementat the top of the shocker is this natural on this vehicle or are the top bushes worn? all help will be welcomed seems to drive ok and no tyre wear Quote
sparky Paul Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Around 10mm movement at the top is normal. The top mount rubber self seats when the weight is on the suspension, the strut drops onto the top retaining cup when jacked up. Quote
